NBCF GRANT REPORTS

All recipients of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) research grants and individual awards, including Scholarships and Fellowships, are required to submit timely annual progress reports within three months of the end of the report period. Reports are to include:

  • Financial Report against the approved grant budget
  • Date of report, program title, chief investigators, associate researchers, institution, project progress (outlining research progress to date, any departures from the original timeline or challenges or barriers to progress, and plans for overcoming setbacks), and any publications or presentations arising from the award.
Reporting requirements for specific grants schemes and individual awards are detailed in the Guidelines relevant to each scheme.

Failure to submit a satisfactory report may result in a determination by the NBCF Boards of Trustees that funds have not been used in accordance with conditions applicable to the specific scheme, and that all or part of the Grant or individual award must be repaid. Invoices for administering institutions will not be paid until the appropriate reports have been received, so it is important that NBCF is advised if any reporting delays occur or are anticipated. It would be also advisable to notify your administering institution’s grant office and finance department of any delays to the submission of reports, so that they can be aware of any outstanding invoices they may have sent on your behalf.

All reports are to be submitted using the following NBCF report templates and submitted electronically. The Final Report template is below. This template is for all grants (except Scholarships and Fellowships).
