NBCF’s new look ahead of our 25 year anniversary

Since we opened our doors in 1994, the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) has raised over $162 million to fund an incredible 514 breast cancer research projects across Australia. It’s all thanks to the ongoing support and generosity of the Australian community.

From the development of new drugs, treatments, and diagnostic tools to vital research infrastructure and the support of the country’s brightest scientific minds – together, we have made an undeniable impact on the face and future of breast cancer.

With the community by our side, we’ve seen and continue to see life-changing results. But we’re just getting started.

When we first started funding research in 1994, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer was 76%[i]. Now, it’s 90%[ii]. It’s proof that our strategy of funding targeted breast cancer research is working. But the job’s not done.

Our determined vision remains: Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

This year marks our 25th anniversary – a major milestone for NBCF. It signals the time for us to reflect on how far we’ve come, and secure our plans for next chapter. With future goals firmly in our sights, it seemed the perfect opportunity to update our brand look.

We may look and sound a little different, but rest assured, IT’S THE SAME US.

We’re still the same organisation with the same goal of funding game-changing research to stop deaths from breast cancer. The only thing that’s transforming is our visual identity – making our presence within the community stronger and bolder than ever.

We look forward to celebrating our 25th anniversary with you, and sharing in our many collective achievements. But we’re even more excited to take you with us on the next step of the journey.

Together, with your support, we can stop deaths from breast cancer.
