Regular exercise improves the health and well-being of women living with a diagnosis of breast cancer. However, research has revealed that bra discomfort is a barrier to these women exercising.

This project is the first to comprehensively examine causes of bra discomfort and redesign a bra so that women living with a diagnosis of breast cancer can exercise in comfort and, in turn, enjoy the health benefits associated with an active lifestyle.

This research is co-funded by NBCF and Cancer Australia.
