The 5km A Day Challenge is a fitness and fundraising challenge which we run through Facebook. Run or walk 5km every day in November while raising funds for world-class breast cancer research.
Just click this link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/525280082694576 and follow the prompts to receive your FREE bandana and set up a fundraiser.
We recommend modifying the challenge to suit your abilities. You can modify your challenge by breaking it up and running or walking 2.5km in the morning and 2.5km in the evening.
To order your free NBCF bandana and welcome pack, just make sure you’re in our Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/525280082694576 and follow the prompts to place your order.
If you have ordered your welcome pack, this will include a KM tracking calendar so you can tick off each day and note the total number of kilometers you have completed. We also have an online version available for download through the Facebook group. To track your runs or walks, we recommend downloading a fitness app such as Strava or using a fitness watch.
Donations $2 and over are tax deductible. The donor will receive a receipt to their email address which are generated through Facebook. For more information visit www.facebook.com/help/1439525279599897/
Yes, we’re using #5kmADayForBreastCancerResearch and we’d love it if you use this too.
Unfortunately, Facebook does not allow teams and we cannot join your pages together. That being said, we still encourage you to get your friends and family together to join your 1 Minute Plank a Day in May and take part in the challenge.
