Why is regular giving so valuable?
Our regular monthly donors give NBCF a reliable and sustainable stream of donations which helps us plan well into the future. We are committed to keeping our regular donors updated on our work, and how the funds you’re donating are helping us reach our goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
When will donations be deducted from my card?
Donations are debited from your nominated credit card, or deducted from your bank account, on the 15th or 25th of each month, or nearest business day.
Can I make changes or cancel my donations?
Should your financial circumstances change you can adjust your monthly gift amount or place your donations on hold by calling 1300 708 763 or mailing your request to National Breast Cancer Foundation, GPO Box 4126, Sydney NSW 2001.
What percentage of my donations is invested into breast cancer research?
NBCF strives to control operating expenses to ensure the maximum benefit from donations for research. Out of every dollar gifted or raised, we aim to invest $0.75 in research, and $0.25 in marketing and fundraising. We aim to meet our administrative costs from the interest on our forward grant commitments.
Will I get a tax-deductible receipt?
Yes, donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible. NBCF issues consolidated tax-receipts at the end of the financial year. If you would like to receive it earlier or you have any questions, please contact our Supporter Relations team on 1300 708 763.
