COLLABORATIVE GRANTS FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH

Below is a list of grants on offer by NBCF in partnership with other funding organisations. Further information about the grants and the application processes can be found below.

 

Ovarian and Breast Cancer Research Collaboration Initiative (CLOSED)
Description: The goal of this funding opportunity is to tackle and answer the most critical clinical questions affecting women diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancer, with the potential to transform the clinical management of these conditions by delivering high impact patient outcomes significantly faster than existing funding mechanisms. Proposed research projects must span both breast and ovarian cancer to be eligible.
Application process: Applications must be submitted online via the SmartyGrants application system.
Funding and duration: The total funding available is AUD$1 million over 3 to 5 years which will fund one or two research projects. The Funding Agreement is available for download here.

NBCF International Fellowship Program (CLOSED)
Description: NBCF has established an International Fellowship program to support outstanding Australian scientists/clinicians to strengthen their research experience by working in internationally renowned breast cancer research centres outside of Australia.
Application process: Applications must be submitted online via the SmartyGrants application system.
Funding and duration: NBCF bursary to be applied over a 1-2 years period and in some cases there is a matched funding component from the host organisation

Cancer Australia Priority Driven Collaborative Cancer Research Scheme (PdCCRS)
Description: NBCF and Cancer Australia proudly co-fund high quality translational research together under the Priority Driven Collaborative Cancer Research Scheme (PdCCRS).

NBCF NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship
Description: NBCF in partnership with NHMRCsupports Post-grad top-ups in the pursuit for new knowledge in the prevention and cure of breast cancer.
