The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) have awarded 12 world-class Pink Sky Grants (PSG) totaling almost $6 million, funded by the generosity of the Australian public with research funding partnerships.

The PSG Scheme is a bold new funding initiative designed to support high-risk, high-reward research projects with paradigm-shifting potential to revolutionise approaches to combating breast cancer and ultimately brings us closer to realising our vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

The Scheme is unique within the Australian research landscape and fills a critical gap, enabling researchers to pursue ambitious ideas, emerging technologies and novel therapeutic approaches that may not yet attract traditional funding. By investing in groundbreaking concepts at pivotal stages of development, the PSG Scheme provides researchers with the opportunity to generate the evidence needed to unlock future breakthroughs and bring new solutions closer to people living with breast cancer.
