DETECT

Detecting breast cancer as early as possible before symptoms appear gives the best possible chance of survival. In Australia, the five-year survival rate for early breast cancer (stage 1) is 100%.

Kelly, is thankful that her breast cancer was found early and that she’s here today to share her story.

Developing state-of-the-art technology and other novel detection methods [e.g. liquid biopsies] to improve early breast tumour detection is important towards our vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

This is why DETECT is a key focus of our new Pink Horizon Research Strategy
