DETECT

Detecting breast cancer as early as possible before symptoms appear gives the best possible chance of survival. In Australia, the five-year survival rate for early breast cancer (stage 1) is 100%.

Kelly, is thankful that her breast cancer was found early and that she’s here today to share her story.

Developing state-of-the-art technology and other novel detection methods e.g. liquid biopsies to improve early breast tumour detection is important towards our vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

This is why DETECT is a key focus of our Pink Horizon Research Strategy.
