With more people staying at home and social distancing due to Coronavirus, we thought it would be a great opportunity to provide you with some first-hand information about our NBCF-funded projects, directly from our researchers.

NBCF-funded researcher Dr Paul Beavis from the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre will be our first guest host. In the webinar, Dr Beavis will provide an update on his cutting-edge research project that uses immunotherapy to overcome treatment-resistant breast cancer. Immunotherapy harnesses the body’s own immune system to fight the cancer cells and is currently showing great promise for the treatment of breast cancer. He will speak about the progress of his research and will also share his insights into the future of breast cancer research.
