When the National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1994, 24% of women diagnosed with breast cancer passed away within five years of their diagnosis. In less than 20 years, this figure has improved to 90 per cent survival.
As the National Breast Cancer Foundation receives no government funding, all funds are donated by the community through fundraising initiatives and donations.
If you have decided to leave a gift in your Will to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), please let us know as we would like to welcome you as a Research Guardian. You will receive exclusive invitations to lab tours and other special events in your state. We will also keep you up to date on the latest findings in breast cancer research on a regular basis.
As a Research Guardian, you are part of a forward thinking community that cares deeply and passionately about protecting future generations from the devastation of a breast cancer diagnosis.
