The Circle of 10 brings together influential, like-minded women who are passionate about philanthropy and who have a strong vision to invest in world-class breast cancer research. Through the power of collective giving, the Circle of 10 members choose to align with and support specific NBCF-funded researchers and their projects.

Through this patronage, the Circle members have a powerful impact in changing the future of breast cancer in Australia, and are supporting NBCF’s mission of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. The first Circle was launched in Sydney in 2015. It has since expanded into a national initiative with over 30 members nationally.

Being kept up to date with the latest research results and engaging directly with our research team leader, is what sets the Circle of 10 apart from other breast cancer philanthropic groups.
Associate Professor Stacey Edwards (NBCF-funded Researcher), Alesia De Luca (Circle of 10 Brisbane Member) & Professor Sarah Hosking (NBCF CEO)

Financially committed members contribute $10,000 per annum for two years. The donation is counted as a fully tax deductable gift to NBCF.

Circle of 10 members are invited to select a project to patron as a group, and have the opportunity to attend exclusive events, such as private laboratory tours and hear insights from extraordinary researchers and their teams.

We encourage members to continue on after the initial two years and welcome opportunities to engagement members and their larger networks in funding projects such as Research Impact Funding and Endowed Chairs.
