Other ways to get involved

Hosting a fundraising activity in your workplace is a great way to engage your employees. There are many ways to do this, by having a morning tea or getting active and having some fun., Not only do you raise vital funds for breast cancer research, it helps team building as well.

Why not get the team and participate in one of our signature fundraising activities?

57 SQUAT CHALLENGE

Sparro got all their office involved for the 2021 57 Squat Challenge and raised over $5,000 for breast cancer research. Ciara, their team captain said:

“At first, we were a bit nervous about the challenge (57 squats is a lot harder than it looks!) but as a group, we were so excited to take it on and doing it together made it so enjoyable! We’d put on a fun tune in the office and agree on a time to all come together and do it so we could hold each other accountable and make the most of it!”

GO PINK

How The Card Network engaged their employees by raising funds, going pink and saving lives.

“Many of our team members are quite active on LinkedIn and have a loyal following, particularly one of our co-founders, Nick Sims. As soon as Nick shared his personal goal (to dye his beard pink if he reached $2k) we       instantly saw that $ figure rise on our fundraising page. We believe the success in our fundraising came from a combination of all the methods we incorporated into our campaign; posting on social platforms, setting personal goals, getting the CEO involved, incorporating a pink takeover on our websites for the month of June, adding a optional $2.50 donation to a customer’s cart, getting involved in giveaway, and our GO PINK day at the office to boost word of mouth!” – TCN

PINK RIBBON BREAKFAST

Professionals in Ballina & Lennox Head have been hosting Pink Ribbon Breakfasts for the past 17 years.

Inspired by a personal connection to breast cancer within their office, Professionals Ballina/Lennox Head continue to support breast cancer research and the goal of Zero Deaths from breast cancer. In their eyes, increasing the five-year survival rate is essential.

During their time as a valued partner, Professionals Ballina/Lennox Head have raised over $70,000. That total is expected to climb in 2021 as they host yet another fantastic Pink Ribbon Breakfast where all proceeds are generously donated to NBCF. They will also contribute a percentage of each property sale.

“To everyone that supports NBCF, thank you! We encourage you all to continue your support as we will continue ours, as every bit counts!”
