Buxton and Parkdale Vultures FNC unite in pink for breast cancer research

For almost 20 years, Buxton Real Estate Group has proudly stood alongside the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), helping raise vital funds and awareness for breast cancer research.

It’s a partnership that reaches well beyond the Buxton team, becoming part of the communities we live and work in – and in May, that came to life at Parkdale Vultures Football and the Netball Club’s annual Pink Weekend.

Buxton Mentone Director, Mat Cox and his team joined the Parkdale community for a weekend dedicated to coming together, raising awareness and supporting a future with Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

From pink football socks and netball position tags to signage around the ground, the weekend was a powerful show of community spirits and solidarity for a cause that has touched so many lives.

“Everybody knows someone who has suffered in some way with breast cancer, the game day goes pink event each year is our way to say to those people we support you and also to remind people the best defence against this hideous disease is early detection so get checked out . It’s so great to see 3 forces joining together the club the community and of course Buxton in this one goal of one day having Zero Deaths to breast cancer”. – Mathew Cox, Buxton Director, Mentone

At this heart of the weekend, the message was simple:

“This weekend, we play in pink. For the ones we love. For the lives we can change. Donate. Share. Get Involved.”

For Buxton, it’s proof of what community partnership is all about – showing up, getting involved and using our collective strength to make a difference.

Thank you to Buxton Real Estate Group, Buxton Mentone, the Parkdale Vultures Football and Netball Club, and the wider Parkdale community for once again coming together for Pink Weekend.
