NBCF awards COVID extension funds to 38 grants

Through these uncertain times, the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is committed to our vision in reaching Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

Consequently, earlier this year, NBCF announced a 2020 COVID extension fund comprising of supplementary funding to support previously funded NBCF-research projects only. All NBCF administered awards would be eligible for up to four months extension at no cost due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, a majority of awards were also eligible to apply for limited financial support.

Through this initiative, NBCF is proud to announce there are 38 grants that will receive the COVID extension fund. This will support the salaries of 53 researchers so they can continue their game-changing work.
