floriade

We are honoured to have been chosen as one of this year’s charity partners for Floriade!

Floriade, Australia’s biggest celebration of spring takes place in Canberra’s Commonwealth Park between 15 September
and 16 October we are delighted to be a part of it.

Over the 4 weeks of Floriade we have a number of different activities and events taking place and we’d love to see you there!

Diner En Rose

We are sorry to announce that our Diner En Rose event will no longer be taking place on Thursday 28 September.

However if you are planning to visit Floriade this year there are many other ways you can show your support to those who have been affected by breast cancer - explore this page and find out how!

Blooming Discoveries

Take the time peruse the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s very own florist shop in the heart of Floriade’s Retail section. On offer will be a wide range of beautiful goodies such as pre-made bouquets and floral inspired candles, all proudly sold by our Corporate Partners.

A donation from each purchase will go towards the National Breast Cancer Foundation; helping us move closer to creating a better tomorrow for breast cancer.

Rejuvenation through Research

Throughout the duration of the festival we will be encouraging guests to make a gold coin donation and pin a pink ribbon or flower to a large display wall to represent hope and support for those affected by cancer.

Come and visit us, show your support and be part of something special.

Volunteer your time at Floriade

To ensure this event is a huge success we require the help of many volunteers at all our activities throughout Floriade.

Roles will include: Team leader roles, selling products from our florist shop and raising awareness and funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation around the festival sight.

This is a great opportunity to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation and also attend Australia's biggest celebration of spring.

If any are interested in getting involved please complete an online form using the link below or if you have any further questions please email volunteer@nbcf.org.au or call 02 8098 4800.

Can’t make it? You can still get involved!

For our Rejuvenation Through Research instillation we need hundreds of pink ribbons for people to pin on a wall as a sign of hope and support for those affected by breast cancer.

If you have some spare time on your hands and would like to play a big part in this special activity we’d be so grateful for your help with this.

Our ribbon requirements are:

    • Use any 10-16cm length of ribbon
    • It has to be a shade of pink but patterned fabric is fine
    • It needs to be folded over and stuck in the middle with glue to look like our pink ribbon
    • Please send all ribbons to the address below along with a note from yourself:
